Like so many other success stories, Fendi began its life in a small workshop in Italy with the only employees being Edoardo and Adele Fendi. Times were tough in 1925, but the quality of Fendi's leather and fur goods soon had people talking. What's this got to do with sunglasses? Well, thanks to designs by Karl Lagerfeld in 1965, Fendi got the worldwide attention they deserved, and from there they were able to expand into other accessories, including sunglasses. Yay!
